Here's the story--
In July 2005 a dear friend came to visit me for the weekend while my husband was traveling to China for his MBA program.
She offered to help me set up a blog that would follow our kids/family growth.
The big question was--THE NAME. We wanted to to be fun, simple, and cute.
Cupcakes and Cowboys was born. We thought of cupcakes because I love to cook for my boys (then my husband and son).
In February of 2009 we welcomed our cupcake, Stella. We are complete, two cowboys and two cupcakes.
When I started Cupcake Mommies Menus, the name came easily. I have been planning menus, cooking, and adoring grocery shopping since I started staying home with Thomas.
So, in short, I do LOVE cupcakes and even enjoy making them once in awhile. However, the name comes from a closer place in my heart.
